SHAMANISM
An Ancient Healing Tradition
"A way of life.
It is to connect with nature and all of creation.
The word shaman originates from the Tungus tribe of Siberia and Anthropologists use this term to refer to the spiritual and ceremonial leaders among various cultures."
NSHIMTA, A Shamanic Practitioner
I was an alternative chiropractic physician for 25 years with specialties in Neurology, Endocrine based Nutritional Counseling, Acupuncture, and body/mind therapies such as Neuro-Emotional-Technique (NET), and trans-personal mental health counseling based on Adlerian Psychology.
Through a series of events I found a new place, a new profession (well, a resemblance of the old), a new path, a new goal, and ultimately an enormously better way to heal others.
I found Shamanism. I found how to be a Healer in a mightier way and that was being The Mama Shaman.
Shamanism
Shamanism is a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with the spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world.
A shaman (/ˈʃɑːmən/ SHAH-men) is someone who is regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of benevolent and malevolent spirits, who typically enters into a trance state during a ritual, and practices divination and healing.
